Jobing Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a well organized administrative assistant with three years experience to step up into a contract position with an established and diverse local establishment. You will work Monday through to Friday 8am-5pm, with some evening and weekend hours when required.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting the Directors daily with general administration duties.
  • Preparing and typing up letters, reports and grant applications.
  • Maintaining accurate files.
  • Gathering and fact checking content for the website and monthly electronic newsletter.
  • Updating website content and newsletter subscriber lists.
  • Distributing the monthly newsletter.
  • Responding to and re-directing newsletter subscriber messages.
  • Maintaining mailing lists.
  • Forwarding applications and questions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assisting with client visits, building tours, meetings and weekend and/or evening special events.

    Skills / Requirements



    As the successful applicant you will have:


  • A Secretarial certificate with three years related experience.
  • Strong MS Office skills are to include, but not limited to Excel, Word, and mail merge.
  • Experience writing and compiling reports/emails, and website content.
  • Special event coordination experience.
