Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Budget & Analysis Supervisor, assists and performs financial, operational, marketing, budgetary and technical analysis projects. Uses the cost benefit approach to analyze all aspects of interdepartmental operations to maximize growth and return. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists in revenue forecasts and expenditure projections as they relate to the budget.
Assists in financial modeling for workforce analysis.
Assists in querying databases to create reports and answer key questions about gaming statistics and operational performance.
Prepares reports on database activity to determine marketing return on investment.
Analyzes direct mail and entertainment programs to determine profitability.
Prepares a variety of special project reports based on requests from management.
Prepares long-term financial forecast and analysis.
Provides assistance concerning budget procedures and methods.
Assists in analyzing operational revenues and expenditures.
Assists in analysis of financial statements scorecards and key performance indicators.
Analyzes promotions to ensure effectiveness and revenue impact.
Assists in the analysis and interpretation of accounting, marketing and operational information in order to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, performance against competitors and industry standards.
Assists in improving communication and flow of information for quality of business decision making.
Assists in auditing of unusual transactions and budget variances.
Supports needs of data warehouse of key performance indicators and relational databases.
Serves as a resource to other departments in operational analysis.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as required.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field plus two to four years analysis experience. Above average to advanced excel ability. Gaming experience preferred. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Certifications:
Knowledge of the standards, policies, practices, and procedures of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards.
Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in English.
Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times.
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Skill in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing operational and financial reports.
Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
Skill in statistical compilation and analysis.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to stand; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office and Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a moderate noise level Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
