With teacher, implements the agency's Head Start Early Childhood and Family Development program for a maximum of twenty children in a half-day program.

Skills / Requirements

Educational/Experience Requirements:

* Co-Teacher applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED and six months documented experience working in a paid or volunteer position with pre-school age children in a licensed facility AND must posses at least a child development associate credential (CDA).

* Assistant Teacher applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED and six months documented experience working in a paid or volunteer position with pre-school age children in a licensed facility AND must be willing go acquire a child development associate credential (CDA) within two years of hire.

A copy of the certificate(s) or a copy of an official / unofficial transcript must be attached to the employment application.
