COPE Community Services, Inc. is a private, nonprofit mental health care and community service organization providing pathways to recovery for individuals and families, and collaborative solutions to community problems. COPE offers comprehensive programs, resources, and support for recovery from substance abuse, serious mental illness, HIV/AIDS, as well as from the stresses and challenges that affect health and quality of life.

We are currently seeking full time Clinical Specialists to work at our case management sites. Duties are to perform clinical services including assessment, service plan development, case coordination, counseling, and act as a clinical consultant to treatment team as directed. The Clinical Specialist serves as a team member in the provision of services in accordance to a client's individual treatment plan that results in a positive behavioral change.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited college in a behavioral health field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services (i.e., assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individuals behavioral health issue) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health. At time of hire, must be actively engaged in the process of becoming licensed in an appropriate discipline (counseling, social work, or substance abuse) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Must be licensed within six (6) months of hire to continue in position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited college in a behavioral health field plus one (1) year experience providing behavioral health services (i.e., assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of an individuals behavioral health issue) in an agency, to an individual or in a field related to behavioral health. Licensed in an appropriate discipline (counseling, social work, or substance abuse) by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

Important Notes

Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement) and possess a valid AZ drivers license with no more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years (DUI, careless driving, or any other major moving violations automatically excludes you from coverage). At time of hire, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required.
