Jobing Description

Primarily responsible for supervising all areas and staff of the Dining Room, Double U Café, Demonstration Kitchen, LEC Dining Room, and Dining Room Functions. Supervised by Dining Room Assistant Manager. Requires a professional demeanor, the ability to handle confidential information, the use of independent and appropriate judgment, exceptional customer service and follow up skills, as well as the ability to prioritize a dynamic workload.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensures that service and operations of all dining areas are consistent with Canyon Ranch standards of appearance and execution supporting an atmosphere that supports the Canyon Ranch mission.

* Supervises the Servers, Bussers, and Hosts in cooperation of the Dining Room Assistant Manager and the Dining Room Manager.

* Ensures that all Dining room areas are appropriately set up, clean, sufficiently supplied and equipped.

* Holds daily operational meetings with staff members.


Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports and Documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately; Trains new staff members as needed; Refers Guest problems or complaints to supervisor according to Canyon Ranch guest problem resolution policy.

Management Responsibilities:
Directly Supervises Dining Room Host, Server and Busser positions.

Skills / Requirements

Education:
High School Diploma or GED Required

Certification/License:
Must be CPR and First Aid certified within 6 months of employment.

Experience:
Must possess a minimum of two years of Dining Room or food service experience, with supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills, the ability to effectively supervise and instill cooperation in staff, and the ability to work well under pressure.
