Tucson Medical Center is seeking an IT Director to lead the applications teams who manage Epic, Peoplesoft and other enterprise-wide applications.  We recently achieved HIMSS Stage 7 EMR certification placing TMC in the top 1% of all hospitals nationwide. The Director in this role is expected to continue to drive continuous improvement in Epic and other critical applications to deliver outstanding value to the organization. We are seeking an innovative, collaborative and decisive individual to provide strategic and operational leadership in this critical role. The ideal candidate will have a background in business analysis  and/or application development and IT management as well as strong experience in healthcare IT. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in building alliances, working with a diverse group of stakeholders, negotiating successful outcomes, managing complex contracts, managing budgets and building strong and highly functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



EDUCATION:



Bachelor's degree in relevant field







EXPERIENCE:



Eight (8) years of system application maintenance experience. Five (5) years of supervisory or management experience. Specific Epic, healthcare IT and HIM/Revenue Cycle experience a plus.







LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION:



None required.
