Jobing Description
The Director, Integrated Healthcare is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of the development and implementation of an integrated healthcare system, including primary medical, behavioral, substance abuse, and social care management. This position will focus on the implementation of integrated primary and behavioral healthcare and to ensure the delivery of high quality care and the achievement of positive outcomes. The Director, Integrated Healthcare will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, Chief Clinical Officer and other key individuals to lead the organization in this new initiative.
Coordinates activities to ensure a sufficient integrated provider network of primary and behavioral health. Works in collaboration with the Clinical Operations and Medical Management teams in the oversight, monitoring, and analysis of contractual requirements related to the assurance of the adequacy and sufficiency of the integrated healthcare system. Works in collaboration with Business Operations on the development of funding mechanisms, contracting mechanisms, and health information technology needs and solutions. Coordinates activities focused on the design, development, implementation and monitoring of strategic action plans related to the integrated healthcare system.
Skills / Requirements
Master's degree in a healthcare-related field plus at least (5) five years of experience in a behavioral and/or medical managed care health setting which must include a minimum of (5) five years of progressive clinical supervisory experience. Successful leadership experience with the integration of primary medical and behavioral healthcare required. Demonstrated progressive project management and senior-level management experience required. Must have a valid Arizona driver's license.
