Jobing Description

Our client has an opening for an Electrical Engineer to design and develop variable speed motor controllers, including magnetic structures. You will design power solutions by selecting components, building prototypes, providing schematics, documentations, debugging, and testing for 440 volt AC/DC and DC/DC converters for power levels up to 10 KW. As well as this, you will naturally interface with both customers and vendors providing support.

Skills / Requirements



You will also need the following minimum requirements:


  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years solid experience in power electronics.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital and analog motor controllers, harmonics, PWM, 3-phase motors, embedded systems, control algorithms, hardware design, power electronics, and power supplies.
  • Experience designing 3-phase motor controllers, from the component level through to the system level.
  • Military component and specification knowledge.
