HR Records Clerk

Perform data entry and maintenance of employee HR and payroll information including new hire information, job changes (promotion/transfers/demotions), pay change, personal information changes, W-4, direct deposit, etc. Provides assistance to internal and external customers on payroll inquiries with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service in an accurate, professional, and timely manner. Additionally, assists the payroll team with administrative functions such as scanning, archiving, filing, and mail processing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Data EntryProcess and auditing employee records from HR and payroll related forms/documents in a timely manner. Enter and audit employee data changes in a timely and accurate manner.

Payroll AssistanceAssist and support Payroll Supervisor and Specialists as needed in running the payroll. Perform administrative duties in support of the Payroll team such as mail processing, document scanning, filing, and records archiving.

Customer ServiceAct as primary contact for internal and external customers, answering all questions promptly, accurately, and professionally.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven experience providing excellent customer service and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingProven ability and experience processing a high volume of data entry in a timely and accurate manner, preferably in a multi-state retail environment
Be extremely detail oriented in entering and auditing data for input accuracy
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to organize work and manage time
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
Ceridian Latitude knowledge or similar software package
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong analytical and financial skills
