Nesco Resource is currently recruiting for a IT Project Manager for our client in Tucson, AZ!
Acts as a key IT point of contact for all our client’s Research & Development, functions, including Translational Diagnostics, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and others as agreed by the ITLT & business. Responsible for supporting the alignment of IT strategy with Business strategy, prioritization of the IT portfolio and delivery of service levels to the business. Responsible for the implementation and execution of service level management with all customers for all IT services provided, locally and globally. Responsible for supporting the overall management of IT demand from each customer. Collaborates with the business functions to ensure appropriate Subject Matter Expert (SME’s) for all Enterprise Applications are in place throughout Customer organization to ensure successful application utilization. Proactively assesses upcoming changes in the areas of responsibility, industry and business environment and identify potential solutions. Collaborate with global, regional and local IT functions to identify and address business problems and opportunities, evaluate alternative IT technologies and research industry best practices and emerging trends.
Participates in the planning and coordination of enterprise wide systems (such as Laboratory information management systems, electronic lab notebooks, image management systems etc.), conducts and prepares feasibility studies for new applications or revisions to existing systems, prepares system development and schedules, prepares and presents project proposals to management and user departments, reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for system improvements, monitors design process and prepares reports on system projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Under limited supervision, develops project scope, systems, and plans to develop, enhance, or maintain information systems.
- Develops system and user documentation to support all project work.
- Oversees project teams, and assists in the leadership of more complex projects.
- Seeks to understand and support organizational goals & objectives.
Formal Training/Education:
Bachelors Degree, advanced studies or training.
Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with program & project management.
- Experience gathering technical requirements and best practices.
- Familiar with the development of business cases.
- Experience establishing project metrics and developing project dashboards and other portfolio management.
- Experience adjusting triple constraints of project (time, scope and cost) to keep project on track.
- Identify stakeholders roles and ensure individual commitments are on track (influence people).
- Makes improvements, solve problems or takes corrective action when problems arise.
- Develops/Creates SOW/purchase requisitions, RFPs, RFQs. Experience with purchasing and contract management.
