Job: Freelance Writer

Tuscon West Publishing is seeking freelance news reporters with at least one
year of experience or a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Must have knowledge
of AP style and have experience working under deadline. Must have knowledge
of libel and privacy law. Must own a digital camera for reporting use.
Occasional weekend assignments. Coverage area includes the northwest and
northeast side.

Responsibilities:
• gather story ideas from community
• report on and write assigned stories
(1-2 per week)
• submit assigned, unedited,
high-resolution photos
• write captions and headlines
