Jobing Description
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out the maintenance and repair of all company equipment.
Maintaining plant efficiency and a safe working environment.
Performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, repair and service of machinery and support systems.
Communicating information to the maintenance coordinator and to the Production Supervisor regarding technical issues, equipment problems, and continuous improvement ideas.
Utilizing a digital volt meter, mega OHM meter and AMP probes to diagnose electrical problems.
Generating work orders, entering and retrieving data from the CMMS System.
Supporting the installations and start-ups of new equipment.
Performing welding and machine shop tasks related to the repair of equipment and machinery.
Will clean and sanitize machines to meet legal and quality standards.Skills / Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
Experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installation, repair and service of machinery and support systems.
Ability to communicate effectively.
A good attendance record.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and draw and interpret graphs.
Background and drug tests will be required.
Must maintain an OSHA certified forklift license.Important Notes
