Jobing Description



The primary responsibility of the production technician is to operate filling equipment including the depalletizer, can conveyor systems, lid feeder, fillers, seamer, metal detectors, dewatering belts, hydro stat, and associated conveyors. In this role you will also be required to monitor the processes of the filling systems so that product quality is guaranteed and the package integrity is assured. You will participate as a team member and perform proper sanitation and sterilization of equipment. This position is offered as a 1st or 2nd shift.

Skills / Requirements



The successful applicant will have:


  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A working knowledge of production environment machinery operation equivalent to at least one year experience, including the ability to run, set-up and change-over equipment.
  • The ability to troubleshoot production related problems.
  • Demonstrated equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance experience preferred.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office.
