Jobing Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a purchaser with five years supervisory experience to step up into a permanent position with an established Tucson company. In this role you will plan, develop and buy materials, parts, supplies and equipment in a timely and cost effective way, whilst monitoring macro trends in suppliers, leading all procurement groups through all phases of the contract.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Maintaining quality standards and specifications.
  • Implementing and forecasting procurement strategies, policies, and needs, whilst creating and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Ordering materials and services.
  • Preparing purchase requisitions, approving and issuing purchase orders in accordance with company policy.

    Skills / Requirements



    The successful applicant will have:


  • A Bachelor's degree with strong analytic skills and interpersonal and liaison abilities.
  • Strong proficiency in MAPICS use and competent budgetary skills.
