Jobing Description

Job Type: FULL TIME

Assists physicians and nursing staff in management of patients with internal reservoirs, fistulas, draining wounds, special wound and skin problems, pressure ulcers, skin ulcers, and incontinence. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents enterostomal patient education needs and care according to established hospital policies. Provides in-service training to hospital staff. Demonstrates specific care needs based on knowledge of correct prosthetic ostomy equipment and related products. Promotes patient education and care by developing and updating programs.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; Three years of related experience; Current Rn licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona; Certified in Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing.
