The Town of Marana is accepting applications for an HR Analyst/Sr HR Analyst to be the Recruiting Specialist working in the Human Resources Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same. Marana is one of Arizona?s fastest growing municipalities. At more than 120 square miles and nearly 35,000 residents Marana lies approximately 20 minutes northwest of downtown Tucson and 75 minutes southeast of Phoenix. Marana incorporated in 1977 and uses the council-manager form of government. More than 300 professionals are employed by the Town. The Town of Marana is home to the prestigious PGA Tour Accenture Match Play golf tournament and the site of the world?s largest Ritz-Carlton resort property. Examples of Duties: Responsible for overall recruitment and on-boarding for all town positions, including development of attractive ad descriptions and placement; use of alternative sourcing/branding; develop, manage and utilize applicant tracking systems to identify and recruit quality candidates; conduct effective screening procedures to provide quality candidate recommendations; develop, implement and interpret job analysis for job related testing and selection criteria; coordinate and schedule interviews; maintain all applicant documentation, selection and decision processes; make employment offers within legal and organization criteria; knowledge of website and external recruitment tools to enhance scope of recruiting; conduct exit interviews and apply data to recruitment and retention efforts; develop and coordinate on-boarding program. Requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment; ability to interact with all levels of management and maintain a productive relationship throughout the recruiting timeline. Position also requires additional HR experience/knowledge in the area of job classification analysis and evaluation and compensation/market analysis. Must be able to Interact with HR staff and support all functional efforts in the HR department as needed.

Skills / Requirements

To be filled at HR Analyst or Senior HR Analyst depending on experience. Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor?s degree with relevant major in personnel, human relations, public or business administration and 4 or more years of generalist or specialist experience to meet position requirements. Applicant may substitute relevant specialized education, training and experience to meet the knowledge, skills, abilities and characteristics required. Strong written and verbal skills, interviewing techniques, and computer expertise required.
Additional Qualifications: Broad HR knowledge and generalist experience with specific expertise in recruitment strategies and practices that deliver high quality candidates through creative techniques; knowledge and experience applying all HR laws; additional generalist experience with focus on job analysis, evaluation and classification. Public sector experience and professional certifications highly preferred.
