The Donation Specialist provides word class customer service by greeting and serving donors in a positive, courteous and timely
manner. The Specialist knows and understands GISA’s mission and why donations are important to the mission. The Specialist helps communicate and educate the public on GISA’s mission. 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Possess and demonstrate customer service mindset. 

 

Able to read, write and speak English. 

 

Able to travel and transfer to all Goodwill sites on a regular basis as necessary. 

 

Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be able to stand for long periods at a time; climb stairs; bend,

 

reach and stretch repeatedly during a shift. 

 

Able to follow written or verbal instructions. 

 

Must be dependable and able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends). 

 

Able to work in all weather conditions, with exposure to moving trucks and forklifts, and moderate noise levels. 

 

Able to work with a minimum of supervision.  

 

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all individuals.

 

Must pass the strength and agility test with a "Light" score or higher.
