Business Systems Analyst Sr - Resource Management Applications

Seeking an experienced Accounting and Supply Chain Professional with Business Systems Analyst experience to provide advanced application support for the PeopleSoft (PS) FSCM system as well as other assigned applications. Candidate must possess a strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices. This position works with Finance and Supply Chain system leaders, as well as support staff. The BSA facilitates planning meetings, analyzes user and system application needs, documents requirements, performs system configuration, tests and coordinates end user testing and training. Acts as a liaison between customers and development staff. Responsible to support the day-to-day use of PS, identifying areas for improvement and troubleshooting issues. TMC performs all updates completely in-house including testing PUMs, patches and upgrades. We also implement any custom solutions and enhancements as well as administer system security, all following change control protocols. Candidate must exhibit a solid technical aptitude as well as strong business sense to understand the impact of changes across the organization.
Drives the design and implementation of new business processes and optimized system configuration.
Leads and facilitates design sessions to achieve improvements.
Understands the business strategy of a particular function/area and works with the team to define business requirements.
Influences business leadership and management decisions and drives ownership and acceptance of change to the business.
Aligns work to departmental goals.
Develops work plans for a variety of moderately complex systems based on system development life cycle methodology. Analyzes and designs systems that meet user requirements, anticipate their needs, and conform to technical standards. Assists in setting standards for and preparing requirement definitions, statements of work, programming specifications, and flow charts based on project scope.
Creates and communicates status reports in accordance with departmental standards.
Updates documentation consistently, following departmental policies and procedures.
Attends and participates in team, project and department meetings to increase awareness and information flow.
Meets with customers frequently and provide frequent written status updates to customers, team members, and department management.
Identifies solutions to complex business directives or implementation impediments.
Provides consultative services to customers and technologists as to the workflow processes and incorporation of technology solutions.
Develops clear, concise training materials and conducts customer educational sessions.
Executes comprehensive testing plans to verify critical business outputs and system integrity.
Writes SOWs that are complete and clearly understood, while appropriately setting customer expectations.
Documents and prioritizes issues with vendor; stays current with vendor trends, strategic plans and technology.
Schedules loading bundles and fixes with vendor, systems group and customers.
Examines techniques in use and determining appropriate changes to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance internal operational business processes.
Maintains knowledge of expanding technical and business expertise and applies new skills and knowledge to TMC situations.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety and confidentiality policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in accounting, finance, or computer analysis, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of business systems analysis experience, preferably in an acute care setting. PeopleSoft experience strongly preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFFERED: ERP Applications, SQL Knowledge, Prior operational experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Supply Chain, Excellent Communication/Customer Interaction Skills, Analytical/Problem Solving Skills, Strong Self-Motivation and Organization Skills, LEAN skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Thorough knowledge of information systems, business operations, requirements analysis, and assigned core application(s).
Skill in assessing needs and determining through documentation what the best approach might be.
Skill at problem definition and data collection by establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to prepare detailed written reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, managers, directors, senior leaders and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to apply basic algebraic concepts.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
