Job Description


Accountemps is currently seek for one of our premier clients located in Marana, Arizona, who is in need of a skilled Financial Analyst to join their growing team.

* Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
* Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
* Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
* Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
* Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
* Utilize the consolidation system to validate data integrity and accuracy, as well as changes on the reporting structure; provide reporting and distribution of consolidated reports, including trail balances, account details & analyses for management.
* Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
* Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
* Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading detail oriented publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in detail oriented organizations.
* Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting, is required.
- Five (5+) years of progressive accounting experience in Public Accounting/private industry, preferably in manufacturing environment with global operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
- Efficient and highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets and other software systems (Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
